“ We had lunch today, Sept 26, 2024, for the first time at Chavela’s and was very pleasantly surprised. Everything was great from the authentic taste, to the portions and great service. Something else that really impressed me was the fact that they give military discounts. That is HUGE!! Photos below of the cheese, enchiladas and fried ice cream ”
“ The Mexican Street Tacos were very good. The Mineras-Cheese Enchiladas was a good dish. We enjoyed the flavor of what seemed to be their homemade salsa hot and mild. However their exemplary service is what made the entire so great. They were busy and had very few staff yet they were very attentive and pleasant which is rare nowadays. It was late I ordered coffee with cream. The young man apologized that they only had milk… no problem for me. When they brought my coffee in and earthenware mug they also brought a small pitcher of milk that they had taken the time to take the chill from. That coffee was fantastic!! It was still warm throughout my meal. Smiles and thoughtful acts can make the meal so much more pleasant. Thank you ”
